Into the Great Unknown

Over the last decade or so, I’ve had the good fortune to visit a lot of incredible places on this earth, but tomorrow I embark on a journey unlike any other, where for all intents and purposes, I will probably ‘leave’ this earth for a little awhile to explore other realms… mostly the ones embedded deep within myself.

Heading into the Peruvian Amazon jungle, I will spend 10 days with a Shipibo Shaman, exploring plant medicine, namely ayahuasca, with the explicit intention of physical and energetic cleansing, spiritual healing, perspective shifting and pure consciousness expanding.

This is something I have wanted to do for the last several years, but even up until a couple of months ago, I was absolutely terrified of all the unknowns. But in the last 3 years I have stepped squarely into the face of fear, over and over again… to learn, understand and be shown that fear is nothing more than a self-constructed frame of mind… and that it is deconstructed simply by softening and opening your heart to it, difficult as that may be.

And so, here I go… once more stepping into the great unknown, with my heart more open than ever before.

Stay tuned.
